London, UK Bound in Leather, 307 pages This is just the second volume of Sterne's epic Tristam Shandy novel which I believe came in four volumes out of the 10-volume Works of Laurence Sterne. (Ignore the printed content on the title page below The Life and Opinions of Tristam Shandy, Gentleman; II, III, IV and A Life Of The Author are not in this book. A complete set from this time could run thousands. This late 18th century copy is quite scarce. Although both leather boards are still attached and the spine covering is nearly complete, both hinges are cracked, and the leather on the rear board is chipped. Textblock and interior good and stable. 4 3/4" x 7 1/8" x 1 1/8"

This arrived very quickly and was extremely well packed with seller wrapping each individual book several times then all the books together. I was amazed at how much time was spent packing them up to ensure they wouldn’t be damaged. Would definitely buy from this seller again.
