A small book measuring about 5 3/4 inches tall by 3 3/4 inches wide. The binding is rubbed and worn but sound. Gilt rules on the spine; the leather lettering piece on the spine is absent. There appears to be some old damping to the binding. Book is now in a modern removable clear mylar jacket with a handwritten label taped to the outside of the jacket. Secure hinges. Text is toned and foxed. There is heavy damping at the rear of the book. Early owner's inscription on the second front flyleaf appears to read, "Martha Hilles / Presented by her Brother Samuel Hilles" . ***************************************** We Always Accept Returns if the Item Does Not Match the Description. Excellent old history in perfect condition, like new. Book clean and crisp with absolutely no damage as described. Publication date 1930. Very quickly shipped. Very securely wrapped against weather and handling damage. A bit dear but you certainly get what you pay for.
