Hardcover bound in early black half leather with marbled paper covered boards. Binding is rubbed and bumped. The marbling shows heavy rubbing and some scuffing. Front hinge a bit tender. The binding is now housed in a modern clear mylar dust jacket. Former owner's modern bookplate on the front pastedown has a name which appears to read "Tordenskjold" and with a motto, "Be Fair in all You Do" .
