Fine leather binding with embossed boards and gilt lettering on the spine. Exterior shows wear as pictured, including some rubbing and soiling, wear to the joints, general wear around the extremities including bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and some rubbing and soiling to the gilt page edges. Otherwise nicely preserved! Tight and square , and the gilt title lettering on the spine displays nicely from the shelf. Internally this volume is in good shape overall. There is light wear to both the front and rear hinges, however the volume is tight and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding. There are no bookplates, signatures, inscriptions or library markings to note. The text block of this volume is very clean overall. Pages show typical age-related toning, some light soiling and foxing scattered throughout, and general wear in the margins including light corner creasing. Otherwise clean and perfectly readable throughout! Nicely illustrated.
