For sale is an excellent condition, professionally rebound first edition 2 Vol set of The Life of Wellington: The Restoration of the Martial Power of Great Britain by Sir Herbert Maxwell. Both books have been professionally rebound in leather by famous bookbinder Robert Riviere & Sons. Published in 1899 by Sampson Low, Marston and Company in London. Includes several fold out maps and photographs . Binding is tight and pages are unmarked, with the exception of light age toning and a bookplate on inner front hardboard boards from previous owner Adam Rivers Steele. Leather hardboards are clean and square with only light shelf wear. Leather spine looks excellent with bright title gilding. Please see photos for condition detail. shelf reference #L-1218

I can't recommend this seller highly enough. Everything was excellent, from the items' condition, to communication, to packaging. They took extra care with packaging because they knew we were having floods in my area. Postage was fast and tracking was brilliant. Postage cost to Australia was ridiculous, but that's not the seller's fault - they actually gave me a discount for multiple items! I hope to be a return customer.
