20 Vol. Collector's Library of the Civil War Time Life Books HC -No DJ Very GOOD Condition Collector's Library of the Civil War Published by Time Life Books, Many authors Included in this listing 20 volumes of the 30-volume set: These are 1983 /1984 reprints of original FIRST Editions first-hand accounts of the war, which were published between 1864 and 1912. Leather bound, dark blue, all edges of the text block are gilt edged and still shiny ! Each has sewn-in red satin bookmarks, some still tucked as if the volume was never read. Many titles have one-page inserts introducing the title, and also 'Collector's Library of the Civil War' bookplates, detached and unsigned. Dark blue leather boards have gilt lettering on front boards and spines have gilt lines/ white lettering which is still bright. Bindings tight and like new. Page edges are bright and clean, gilt edged, certainly not remainder marked. Text pages appear clean, unmarked and complete. No odor. Please review all photos.
