The outer leatherette covers are worn around the edges. This published poetry has the original covers plus added plain white covers for inserting into a leather folder. Laid inside the the leather covers are 10 additional typed poems with most signed or initialed with pencil notes. Another typed poem is tipped in on the verso of the front wrap. These poems are signed or inscribed to Margaret and are dated 1937-1941. Included with the poems is an addressed envelope from the author in Kalmia, N.
