Philadelphia, PA. 1806. T. S. Manning Printer, Philadelphia. This book is hard-bound in tree calf leather with a gilt stamped leather label on the spine. The covers show scuffing, heavy toning to the edges, edge-wear, and rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. The joints are cracked. There is wear tot he hinge, but with the binding still solid. The contents are bright and generally clean, but with scattered foxing. There is an early previous owner bookplate which states, "Theodore Lewis Houge," beneath a red printing press.
