By this time Fisher brand was made by SANYO, being their Premium line. These have signature "look" a White Pulp cone. One Badge plate included... A review: Series from the STE or "ST Excellent" performing lineup. Why? See the review in AudioKarma "The majority of the STE line of speakers are excellent speakers. Not many of them were sold in the States. They are Fishers' premium line" "Yes, they are SANYO but don't let that fool you. The STEs fly under the radar" Measurements: Very Well matched... Woofer #1 measures at 3.1 ohms, & 0.36uH Woofer #2 measures at 3.1 ohms, & 0.35mH A Pic shows 3.8, upon re-Check measure 3.1 Ohm (an initial Measurement error) Observations: Balanced / equal Low Freq. sound, a nice performance was noticed One has stain in a 3" area, it is not structural, and the cone is intact. The cones, surrounds, & spiders are all fully functional - Ready to Go. Dimensions: 4-3/8" on Octagonal holes, 8" on SQuare holes, 5 " deep 11-3/8" Diagonal (across), fancy integrated style rim ~12.7" Shipping: These to be bolted F2F, wrapped in heavy paper, packed in Zots / styro logs (fluffed starch?), then set in custom-fit padded box. The Bose speakers arrived just as pictured. They were in excellent condition. The seller kept me informed of the shipping and included photos of the items as they were packed for shipment. Eric took great care protecting the individual items by double boxing and cushioning them to prevent damage during transport. The price was very competitive. Fedex deliver the package in record time. Shipping rapid and reasonable. Perhaps the finest item packing job I have ever seen. Unpacking instructions and highlighted fragile points made safe unpacking a breeze.
