Brockedon Vol. II Only London: John Murray 1833 First Edition Octavo, unpaginated, bound in full red morocco, blind stamped and heavily decorated in gilt. Gilt lettering and decoration to spine. All edges gilt, inside gilt dentelles. Gilt decoration to foredges of the boards. Illustrated with black and white engravings. This book features a fore-edge painting that depicts a seascape. The painting is only visible when the pages are fanned out, as shown in the photographs. When the book is closed, the painting disappears. Some rubbing and wear, hinges starting, scuffs, some discoloration and foxing, else in very good condition.
