A complete set of seven hardcover books bound in full brown leather. Marbled foredges and five raised bands on each spine. Edges scuffed, marring the gilt detailing on the spines, but the spine labels are still clearly legible. Scant foxing and mild age-toning to the pages, but otherwise, text unmarked and binding secure across the set. Item #177533 The first edition, published from 1837-38. John Gibson Lockhart (1794-1854) was Sir Walter Scott's son-in-law.

I was very glad to find the copy of Call Me John by Richard Cardinal Cushing. I read the book many years ago, but it was lost somewhere in the past. I am looking forward to re-reading it again. It was just as described, the shipping was fast and it was well wrapped. A great value considering it is so hard to find. The seller gets a 5-star rating, and I would not hesitate to purchase from again.
