First edition [1831] contains one of the earliest Book of Mormon references and this edition [1846, second], his introduction to the Book of Mormon can be found p. 236–38. Flake-Draper #5278. Good+. Normal rubbing and wear to the cover, edges and corners. Some scuff marks on cover rear. Title on spine is still relatively clear in gilt as well as faint gilt lines on spine. Head of spine is just beginning to separate at one corner. Inscriptions on front endpaper and flyleaf. Title page to about page 40 has damp staining to the upper right corner. There is some foxing to the pages and some pages are dog eared. Overall in great condition. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage.
