The Heart of the World, Illustrated, G.S. Weaver, 1883, Decorative Full Leather Measures about 6 1/2" by 9", embossed and gilt designs on cover and spine, gilt page edges all-around. Fair to Good overall antique condition as shown, decent eye appeal and solidly bound page block but cover hinges are showing their age and beginning to crack so intervention likely needed. Hinges show some separation already at tops and bottoms. Some rubbing as well to cover surfaces with some loss of finish in places; back cover has a small round inclusion near bottom edge. Please refer to the provided photos for the best sense of condition as they are of the exact book available for sale. I have been looking for this for years. It is the platter from my discontinued china to replace one I broke years ago. I ordered two in the past from different sellers and both arrived broken. This one is in perfect condition and exactly as described. A++ on shipping. Though shipping took forever, these items did arrive today undamaged. Packaging was excellent, if not over the top! The items are exactly as described, and I believe they will be of good value for seasonal use. Communication with the seller was excellent when it appeared that the items were lost in Indianapolis and I am very glad they were NOT lost!
