These books are fifty years old and have some wear and tear but not much. The leather might be nicked here and there but the interior of the books is pristine. They are beautiful books bound in embossed leather. The books are filled with stories and tales and are rich in photographs, drawings and primary document images. It is especially nice to have each volume follow a theme of the old west: gamblers, gunfighters, Indians, women, the great chiefs, etc.. You know you are getting quality when it is Time-Life Books. Each book measures 8.5" X 11" X .75"
