Description
The deluxe leather-bound edition of The Official Biography of Winston Churchill published by The Easton Press. Randolph Churchill started Churchill's biography after his Father's death in 1965. He was far from completion when he died in 1968, at which time Martin Gilbert (Randolph's research assistant) took over the task and completed the project in 1988. 12 volumes, fully bound in dark red leather, elaborately tooled in gold, all edges gilt, sewn-in satin bookmarks and silk moire endpapers are printed on Archival-quality acid-neutral paper. Fine Condition – in original shrink wrap as received from the publisher. Never opened or unwrapped. *Please Note*: The photos shown here are not of the actual books, but an identical set with the shrink wrap removed. The 12 vol. set offered here are still in their original shrink wrap, which makes it very difficult to photograph. How impressive this set, in as-new condition will be on your library shelves. A wonderful collection for the Churchill admirer.
